Who we are
Το BirdLife Cyprus ιδρύθηκε το 2003 και είναι ο πιο δραστήριος μη-κυβερνητικός, μη-κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός για την προστασία της φύσης στην Κύπρο.
Με γνώμονά μας την επιστήμη, εργαζόμαστε για την προστασία των πουλιών, των βιοτόπων τους και της ευρύτερης βιοποικιλότητας στην Κύπρο, μέσω δράσεων παρακολούθησης, προάσπισης, εκπαίδευσης και εκστρατειών ευαισθητοποίησης και ενημέρωσης. Για να το πετύχουμε αυτό, ασκούμε επιρροή στα κέντρα λήψης αποφάσεων και πιέζουμε για θετική αλλαγή, μεταφέρουμε το μήνυμα για την προστασία της φύσης, εφαρμόζουμε δράσεις προστασίας και διατήρησης και επιδιώκουμε να εμπνέουμε στους ανθρώπους εκτίμηση για τον φυσικό κόσμο γύρω μας.

We speak out for nature

From the smallest of wetlands to the most remote of forests, our work has one goal: to safeguard the most important areas for birds and nature on the island. We do this starting from the very top: by influencing decision makers and by making sure that the laws that keep our nature safe from harm are in force.

We keep a close eye on our birds

Be it an endangered raptor or a common garden bird, monitoring our bird populations allows us to monitor the state of our countryside. Understanding how and why bird populations are changing is fundamental to our conservation efforts.

We inspire people

Connecting with nature is good for our health, our well-being and our happiness. Be it young or old, we strive to build people’s contact with nature, either in classrooms or in the outdoors, and inspire in people a sense of wonder, love and respect for the natural world.

We care for fragile habitats

Healthy habitats are essential for birds and other wildlife to thrive. By delivering on the ground conservation work, we are able to care for and restore fragile habitats and their biodiversity so that they can become once again a welcoming home to wildlife.

Delivery

Delivery methods: How will my order be sent?

Όλες οι παραγγελίες εντός Κύπρου αποστέλλονται με μεταφορική εταιρεία (ACS courier). Οι παραγγελίες προς Ευρώπη και άλλους διεθνείς προορισμούς αποστέλλονται  συστημένες μέσω των Κυπριακών Ταχυδρομείων. Το κόστος αποστολής υπολογίζεται αυτόματα στο τελικό στάδιο της παραγγελίας σας. Οι παραγγελίες εντός Κύπρου παραδίδονται only at your nearest ACS store.

Delivery times: When will I receive my package?

Once you place your order, we will do our best to prepare the parcel and send it on its way within 1-2 business days. Orders within Cyprus are handled and shipped via ACS courier services, where deliveries can take 1-3 business days.Orders outside Cyprus (Europe/International) can take between 5-15 business days, depending on the destination.

During busy periods, like Christmas and other public holidays, you may experience a delay in receiving your order.

Shipping cost: Why is there a flat rate shipping fee for my order?

We have three flat rate shipping fees depending on delivery destination (Domestic, European or International). Our flat rate shipping fees make shopping simpler and a more straightforward process.

Where can I find how much is the shipping cost?

The shipping cost is calculated and included in the total of your order at the checkout. You can see the final cost at the payment breakdown, before you place your order.

Where do we ship: Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do offer international shipping. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Please see below information regarding international customs taxes & duties.

If your order is being delivered to an address outside Europe, it may be subject to customs taxes and duties. These fees are the responsibility of the customer receiving the package. As we are unable to estimate customs taxes and duties, please contact your local authorities or customs office for more information. If you paid customs taxes and duties as part of clearing your parcel through customs but you then decide to return the parcel, we will not refund these fees. Please contact the customs authority regarding a refund of these charges. Customs processing may delay the delivery of your order. Should you experience a delay please check with your local customs offices.

Can I track my orders?

Yes, you can track your order. All orders, whether local, European or International are tracked and a tracking number will be sent to you via e-mail once the parcel is shipped.

Payments

How can I pay?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and American express. You may also complete your payment through PayPal.

Can I pay with a bank transfer?

You can pay for your order with a bank transfer. Please select the ‘Payment via bank’ option at the checkout. Our bank details are: Bank of Cyprus Account No: 0148-01-008101 – SWIFT: BCYPCY2N – IBAN No: CY 980020 0148 0000000 10081 0100. If you are paying by bank transfer, please provide during the transaction your order number which will appear once you place your order and will also be sent to you via e-mail. Your order will be shipped once the bank transfer comes through.

Do you have discounts?

How can I use my coupon code?

Once you have finished adding items to your cart, head over to your cart to view your items. There you will find a box to apply your discount code before heading to the checkout. Simply enter the code and hit enter to apply the discount to the order total. You can then proceed to checkout as normal and place your order. Please note, you cannot apply a coupon code to an order that has already been placed.

Returns and Cancellations

Returns: Can I return/exchange an item that I purchased?

Yes, you can return or exchange an item that you purchased and you are not pleased with. If you have any doubts or questions regarding any of our products, please contact us before placing your order. Please note that you will need to cover the cost for the return shipment. For this matter, please contact us at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy.

Cancellation: Can I cancel my order?

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, you can still cancel it and get a full refund. To do so, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy or call us at +357 22455 072, to let us know. Once your order is marked as shipped, you will not be able to cancel it.

Refund

Can I get a refund?

Provided that the goods you have returned have no signs of use, a refund can be issued. Simply return the unwanted item to us and we will issue a full refund for the item. Please note that you will need to cover the cost for the return shipment. For this matter, please contact us at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy
