Delivery

All orders within Cyprus are shipped tracked via ACS courier. Orders to Europe and the rest of the world are shipped tracked via the Cyprus Post. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Note that orders within Cyprus are delivered only at your nearest ACS store.

Once you place your order, we will do our best to prepare the parcel and send it on its way within 1-2 business days. Orders within Cyprus are handled and shipped via ACS courier services, where deliveries can take 1-3 business days.Orders outside Cyprus (Europe/International) can take between 5-15 business days, depending on the destination.

During busy periods, like Christmas and other public holidays, you may experience a delay in receiving your order.

Shipments to certain countries may be experiencing significant delays beyond our control.

We have three flat rate shipping fees depending on delivery destination (Domestic, European or International). Our flat rate shipping fees make shopping simpler and a more straightforward process.

The shipping cost is calculated and included in the total of your order at the checkout. You can see the final cost at the payment breakdown, before you place your order.

Yes, we do offer international shipping. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Please see below information regarding international customs taxes & duties.

International Customs Taxes & Duties If your order is being delivered to an address outside Europe, it may be subject to customs taxes and duties. These fees are the responsibility of the customer receiving the package. As we are unable to estimate customs taxes and duties, please contact your local authorities or customs office for more information. If you paid customs taxes and duties as part of clearing your parcel through customs but you then decide to return the parcel, we will not refund these fees. Please contact the customs authority regarding a refund of these charges. Customs processing may delay the delivery of your order. Should you experience a delay please check with your local customs offices.

Yes, you can track your order. All orders, whether local, European or International are tracked and a tracking number will be sent to you via e-mail once the parcel is shipped.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and American express. You may also complete your payment through PayPal.

You can pay for your order with a bank transfer. Please select the ‘Payment via bank’ option at the checkout. Our bank details are: Bank of Cyprus Account No: 0148-01-008101 - SWIFT: BCYPCY2N - IBAN No: CY 980020 0148 0000000 10081 0100. If you are paying by bank transfer, please provide during the transaction your order number which will appear once you place your order and will also be sent to you via e-mail. Your order will be shipped once the bank transfer comes through.

Yes, we offer discounts. BirdLife Cyprus members are entitled to discounts on selected products with the use of a discount code. Please sign up to our newsletter and follow us on our social media to stay up to date with any seasonal discounts. 

Once you have finished adding items to your cart, head over to your cart to view your items. There you will find a box to apply your discount code before heading to the checkout. Simply enter the code and hit enter to apply the discount to the order total. You can then proceed to checkout as normal and place your order. Please note, you cannot apply a coupon code to an order that has already been placed.

Returns and Cancellations

Yes, you can return or exchange an item that you purchased and you are not pleased with. If you have any doubts or questions regarding any of our products, please contact us before placing your order. Please note that you will need to cover the cost for the return shipment. Returns are accepted within 15 days από την ημερομηνία παράδοσης. Δεχόμαστε πίσω μόνο αχρησιμοποίητο προιόν. Προσέξτε να μην αφαιρέσετε τις ετικέτες ή να μη λερώσετε το προιόν. Τα προϊόντα δεν πρέπει να παρουσιάζουν σημάδια χρήσης.

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, you can still cancel it and get a full refund. To do so, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy or call us at +357 22455 072, to let us know. Once your order is marked as shipped, you will not be able to cancel it.

Refund

Provided that the goods you have returned have no signs of use, a refund can be issued. Simply return the unwanted item to us and we will issue a full refund for the item. Please note that you will need to cover the cost for the return shipment. For this matter, please contact us at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy

 

We process returns and exchanges on the same day that the items arrive back to us. Please note that it may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

 

Bird adoptions

A bird adoption is a special way to show your support towards BirdLife Cyprus. By adopting one of three iconic species, the Greater Flamingo, the Griffon Vulture or the Eurasian Roller, you will receive a wonderful gift as a thank you for your important contribution. This is a symbolic bird adoption (you do not adopt a real bird in the wild), through which many birds will benefit from your generous support.

Your contribution helps us continue our work for the protection and conservation of birds and their habitats in Cyprus. The money collected from bird adoptions is used to support BirdLife Cyprus’ activities, such as the systematic monitoring of bird populations, policy and advocacy work to make sure that bird habitats are adequately protected, hands-on conservation projects, as well as awareness-raising and education actions.

The symbolic bird adoption package includes an illustration of the bird of your choice by artist Daphne Christoforou, printed on A4 archival-certified paper (giclée), an adoption certificate and a set of greeting cards to spread the word.

You will be regularly informed about our actions, some of which may directly concern the species you have adopted and its habitats. Simply tick on the box to receive e-news and updates via e-mail.

Of course! You can give an adoption as a gift to yourself or a loved one. When filling out the adoption form, please note the name you would like to be written on the adoption certificate, as well as the address to which you would like the adoption package to be sent. No, you can adopt as many birds as you like! A bird adoption is a unique gift with a noble cause that you can give to yourself or your loved ones.

There is no validity period for our symbolic bird adoptions. If you wish, you can adopt one bird a year, that way collecting all three illustrations to hang in your home.

There are many ways to support our work. You can become a member, thus giving strength to our voice and strengthening our influence both locally and internationally. Alternatively, you can make a donation contributing to the financial support of our organization.

Field trip bookings

The field trips are suitable for beginners and experts alike.

Participation is free for members of BirdLife Cyprus. If you are a member, please select the field trip you are interested in booking and enter the coupon code at the checkout to waive the fee. Please note that this code can only be used for one member per booking. Joint members should make two separate bookings, using the same coupon code. The coupon code can be found in the welcome e-mail you received when you became a member.

The system does not allow bookings for members in conjunction with non-members. If that is the case, please note that two separate bookings will need to be made.

No, you do not need to book and pay if you are escorting a member. However, you will need to make a booking for the member, using the coupon code.

You will receive a confirmation email for your booking. All you need to do then is just show up on the day of the field trip! Please note that the location and meeting time of the field trip can be found at each field trip's listing hereFor any last-minute inquiries or directions, please contact the field trip leader at the phone number found at each field trip’s listing details.

If the field trip you have booked is cancelled due to weather or/and any other unforeseen circumstance then you will get a full refund. For any other inquiries regarding cancellations, please contact us at eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy eshop@birdlifecyprus.org.cy .
